The Odyssey home release set for November 2026

Universal Pictures has announced the home media release of Christopher Nolan’s The Odyssey, scheduled for November 17 and 18, 2026. The film, which has grossed over $1.7 billion worldwide, will be available on digital platforms, 4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray, and DVD. Notably, the digital and physical releases are arriving simultaneously, bypassing the typical early video-on-demand window.

Collectors can choose from various editions, including a $300 Limited Edition 4K Ultra HD Premium Giftset. This high-end package features an exclusive Steelbook, a 70mm IMAX film cell with a display holder, a copy of the book ‘Filming The Odyssey’, and a certificate of authenticity. Other options include limited edition Steelbooks and standard formats.

The release includes over 90 minutes of exclusive bonus content personally overseen by Nolan. Special features include a 12-part behind-the-scenes collection, an IMAX-exclusive prologue available only on physical discs, and featurettes covering the production, such as the construction of the Moroccan sets, the musical score by Ludwig Göransson, and the film’s visual effects. The 4K UHD version will utilize HDR10 and a 1.78:1 aspect ratio.
