Ceuta equestrian center repurposed as humanitarian refuge for 320 migrants
The Centro Ecuestre Ciudad de Ceuta has been repurposed into a humanitarian aid center to accommodate women and minors. The facility is currently housing approximately 320 people who were previously living in improvised settlements across Ceuta.
As the Centro de Estancia Temporal de Inmigrantes (CETI) has reached full capacity, some migrants, including Moroccan women and children, have established makeshift camps near the entrance of the equestrian center to await available space. The area remains under the observation of guards and military patrols.
