Ceuta migrant center: Three security guards attacked during resident brawl
Three security guards at the Center for Temporary Stay of Immigrants (CETI) in Ceuta were attacked while attempting to mediate a fight between residents of Sub-Saharan and Moroccan origin. The guards were transported to a university hospital due to injuries to their wrists and ribs, while a third individual sustained a lip injury. All affected guards are currently on medical leave.
The UGT Ceuta union has called for increased security measures and personnel at the facility, citing overcrowding and the massive influx of people to Ceuta. The union stated that the current security resources are insufficient for the extraordinary situation and emphasized that the reality of the CETI has changed, requiring reinforced protection for workers and residents alike.
