Cevdet Yılmaz visits Osmaniye to discuss economic stability

Vice President Cevdet Yılmaz visited Osmaniye to meet with AK Party officials, business leaders, and NGOs. During his visit, Yılmaz emphasized that Turkey continues its path with stability despite regional unrest in neighboring countries.

Yılmaz provided significant economic projections, stating that Turkey's national income is expected to reach $1.8 trillion this year, up from $238 billion in 2002. He also noted that exports have reached $280 billion and projected tourism revenues to hit $65 billion, with total goods and services exports expected to exceed $400 billion.

Addressing regional development, Yılmaz highlighted the completion of the Osmaniye section of the Mersin-Adana-Osmaniye-Gaziantep high-speed railway project, which he noted will enhance logistics and economic competitiveness. He also discussed the importance of political stability as a prerequisite for economic stability and mentioned ongoing investments in education, health, and industry to support the region's recovery following the February 6 earthquakes.
