Speaking at the 4th 'Together for a Stronger Future' summit organized by the Confederation of Turkish Employer Associations (TİSK), Vice President Cevdet Yılmaz outlined ambitious economic targets for Türkiye. He stated that by the end of the current program period, the goal is to increase national income to over $2.2 trillion, raise per capita income to $25,000, and boost goods and services exports to $450 billion.

Yılmaz addressed inflation management, noting that the government is employing a holistic approach involving monetary, fiscal, and supply-side policies. He highlighted that conflicts and wars have contributed approximately 7 percentage points to inflation. Under the Medium-Term Program, the government aims to reduce inflation to 21% next year.

To support supply-side measures, the budget for social housing allowances has been increased by 150%, from 100 billion TL to 250 billion TL. Additionally, investments in irrigation for food security have exceeded 100 billion TL. Regarding the current account deficit, Yılmaz expressed the intention to bring it below 2% next year.
