CFD Sales rebrands Kurouto Shikou as Crowxis

CFD Sales has announced the rebranding of its long-standing PC component brand, Kurouto Shikou, to Crowxis, effective September 1, 2026. The announcement was made at Tokyo Game Show 2026.

According to CFD Sales President Koji Mitani, the rebranding aims to lower the psychological barrier for consumers, as the previous name was often perceived as being exclusively for advanced users. The new name, Crowxis, combines ‘Crow’ (referencing the Yatagarasu) and ‘Axis’ to represent wisdom and a steady selection process.

As part of this transition, Crowxis is launching several new product lines through global partnerships. These include GeForce graphics cards in collaboration with COLORFUL, Radeon series products with PowerColor and TUL, and DDR5 memory modules in partnership with Team Group. The brand is also expanding into ergonomic office chairs through a collaboration with ErgoHuman, with models expected to launch in January 2027.
