CFE scheduled power outages hit Puebla, Oaxaca and other regions

Mexico's federal utility CFE announced scheduled power outages for Saturday 25 July 2026. In Puebla, the municipality of Tlacuilotepec and its 52 localities will lose electricity from 06:00 to 18:00 while wooden transmission poles are replaced. In Oaxaca, outages are set for 07:00‑19:00 across several Sierra Sur communities as the grid is modernised. The cuts are expected to last up to 12 hours.

Honduras' national utility ENEE scheduled maintenance‑related outages for Sunday 26 July in multiple neighborhoods of San Pedro Sula, including Colonia Hermosa Providencia, Santa Rosa, San Carlos de Sula and several commercial zones. Interruptions begin at 08:30 and will affect residential, industrial and commercial customers.

Colombia's Enel will carry out four days of preventive maintenance from 26 July to 29 July, affecting hundreds of barrios in Bogotá and the neighbouring municipalities of Soacha and Chía. The work includes transformer upkeep, equipment replacement and tree‑trimming to reduce future faults.

Chile's Enel announced seven scheduled cuts for Sunday 26 July across Santiago's communes such as Lampa, Providencia, Ñuñoa and Las Condes. Cuts are intended to support network maintenance and modernisation, with durations of up to six hours.
