CFMOTO launches 1000MT-X adventure motorcycle in Japan

CFMOTO has launched its flagship 1000MT-X adventure motorcycle in the Japanese market, positioning it as a high-performance, cost-effective alternative to more expensive European and Japanese models. The motorcycle features a 946.2cc liquid-cooled parallel-twin engine producing 83kW of maximum power and 105Nm of torque.

Designed for both long-distance touring and off-road capability, the 1000MT-X includes technical specifications such as a 21-inch front and 18-inch rear spoked wheel setup, KYB suspension, cruise control, and adjustable traction control. The vehicle is built with a low center of gravity to improve stability and features a 22.5L fuel tank.

In Japan, the motorcycle has generated significant social media discussion. While many consumers have praised its high cost-performance ratio and robust design, some potential buyers expressed skepticism regarding the reliability and performance of Chinese-manufactured brands compared to established Japanese manufacturers.
