CFMOTO develops 550MT model and expands AMT cruiser lineup

CFMOTO is expanding its motorcycle lineup with new models and technological updates. The company is reportedly developing the 550MT, an evolution of the successful 450MT adventure model. Leaked prototype images suggest the 550MT will feature a 526cc liquid-cooled parallel-twin engine producing approximately 53 CV and 51 Nm of torque. Key improvements are expected in the chassis, suspension, and electronics, including a redesigned windscreen, reinforced rear frame, and a curved TFT display with integrated navigation and over-the-air software updates.

Additionally, the CFMOTO 450CL-C AMT has entered the Vietnamese market. This cruiser features an Automated Manual Transmission (AMT) system, which manages clutch engagement and gear shifts electronically. This allows the 449 cc motorcycle to be operated without a manual clutch lever or foot shifter, offering a riding experience similar to a scooter through three modes: Drive (D), Sport (DS), and Manual (M).
