CFMOTO to supply official motorcycles for WorldWCR starting 2027

CFMOTO has reached an agreement with the Fédération Internationale de Motocyclisme (FIM) and the Dorna WSBK Organization (DWO) to become the exclusive motorcycle supplier for the FIM Women’s Circuit Racing World Championship (WorldWCR) starting in the 2027 season.

For the three-year term spanning 2027 to 2029, the championship will transition from the Yamaha R7 to the CFMOTO 675SR-R. This new platform features a 675cc liquid-cooled three-cylinder engine, providing approximately 15 hp more power than the current machinery. As a one-make series, all riders will compete on identical motorcycles to ensure technical parity.

The technical overhaul also includes Michelin becoming the exclusive tire supplier for the championship starting in 2027, replacing Pirelli. This marks the first time a Chinese manufacturer has been appointed as the designated supplier for an FIM World Championship-level one-make series.
