CFMOTO to expand international racing presence in 2027
CFMOTO is set to expand its presence in international motorcycle racing with major developments planned for 2027. The Chinese manufacturer will become the exclusive motorcycle supplier for the FIM Women’s World Speed Championship (WorldWCR) from 2027 to 2029, replacing Yamaha. The 675SR-R, featuring a 675 cc three-cylinder engine producing 95 CV, will serve as the single-make machine for the category, with Michelin providing the exclusive tires.
Additionally, reports suggest CFMOTO may make a debut in the premier WorldSBK class in 2027. While not officially confirmed, the Aspar team is cited as a leading candidate to manage such a project. Testing has already commenced, with riders Dani Holgado and Máximo Quiles reportedly testing the V4 SR-RR prototype in September.
