CFMoto V4 SR-RR Sets 316 km/h Speed Record
CFMoto announced that its prototype V4 SR‑RR superbike achieved a top speed of 315.82 km/h (rounded to 316 km/h) during the China Motorcycle Topspeed Record Challenge at the CCCC Automotive test track in Shangrao on 15 June 2026. The run was officially verified by a notary. The prototype is powered by a 997 cc V4 engine producing about 213 hp at 15,000 rpm, complies with Euro 5+ standards and targets a dry weight below 200 kg. A video released by the company shows the bike reaching the record speed, though it is not yet a production model and its series performance remains unconfirmed.
Industry observers note that existing production superbikes such as the Ducati Panigale V4 R already reach 317 km/h in stock form and up to 329.9 km/h with a race exhaust, meaning the CFMoto prototype is not the fastest street‑legal bike. CFMoto plans to unveil a production version at EICMA 2026 with market launch slated for 2027.
