Built on the 450SR platform, the new 449.5 cc parallel‑twin sport bike produces 50 hp, features a six‑speed gearbox, liquid cooling, dual‑channel ABS and revised aerodynamics, and is now sold through the brand’s official dealer network. The company highlighted that the V4 SR‑RR record underscores its broader strategy to compete globally across both high‑performance and middle‑displacement segments.

CFMoto conducted aerodynamic testing of the V4 SR‑RR at Pininfarina’s wind tunnel near Turin on 23 July, using mannequins and rider simulations. The trials confirmed an estimated top speed of about 315 km/h and demonstrated active side‑spoilers that adjust independently to increase front‑wheel load during braking and acceleration.

A follow‑up report on 26 July emphasized that the June speed record was achieved with the aid of the Pininfarina wind‑tunnel programme, which refined movable winglets, reduced drag and improved cooling. The data have prompted a redesign of the fairing and suggest the prototype could move toward production ahead of a World Superbike campaign.
