CGE launches mobile service offices and safety campaign in Chile

CGE, an electricity distributor in Chile, has announced several community engagement and safety initiatives. The company is deploying a mobile office to provide commercial services and online transaction assistance to residents in the Maipo Province. Scheduled visits include Villa Santa Bernardita in San Bernardo on August 25 and locations in Paine on August 27.

Additionally, CGE has launched the ‘Volantín Seguro’ (Safe Kite) campaign ahead of the Fiestas Patrias holidays. The initiative aims to prevent accidents involving electrical networks by advising citizens to fly kites in open spaces away from power lines and high-voltage towers. The campaign also warns against using prohibited conductive thread and overloading electrical systems. Educational activities will be conducted in schools throughout August and September to spread these safety messages.
