CGEM and Enabel launch mentoring program in Morocco's Oriental region

The Confédération Générale des Entreprises du Maroc (CGEM) and Enabel, the Belgian development agency, have signed an agreement to launch the Maghrib Belgium Mentoring program. The initiative focuses on the Oriental region of Morocco.

The program aims to support 100 entrepreneurs and project leaders in the region by utilizing the expertise of the Moroccan diaspora living in Belgium. The agreement includes specific targets for gender inclusion, aiming for up to 40% female beneficiaries and at least 30% female mentors.

Mehdi Tazi, President of CGEM, stated that the program seeks to help entrepreneurs scale their projects and access new markets by mobilizing diaspora expertise and CGEM networks.
