Chacabuco, Argentina Restores Water Well N° 6 to Boost Supply
Municipal workers in Chacabuco, Argentina, repaired and put back into service the city's Pozo N.º 6, a key component of the potable‑water network that had been offline for several years. The restoration, completed on Saturday, involved replacing the main valve and other necessary repairs, allowing the well to serve as an additional backup source during the upcoming high‑demand summer season.
Mayor Darío Golía praised the sanitation department staff for their effort, noting the work was carried out despite low temperatures and the temporary interruption of water service to residents. He thanked the community for its patience during the outage.
