Argentina provincial governments launch environmental and health prevention campaigns

Various provincial and municipal governments in Argentina are implementing preventive health and environmental measures. In Chaco, the provincial government is conducting spatial fumigation operations in the Gran Resistencia area using ultra-low volume machinery to combat environmental risks associated with the El Niño phenomenon.

In San Juan, the municipality is intensifying desinsectation efforts in public spaces and neighborhoods to maintain hygiene and sanitation. Similarly, in Tucumán, authorities are deploying environmental operations to prevent the spread of dengue and chikungunya by eliminating mosquito breeding sites.

Other regional initiatives include mobile health and social service programs. In Corrientes, the government is providing assistance to families affected by rising river levels, while the IPS Móvil program is bringing pension and retirement services to Monte Caseros. In Salta, university students are conducting sanitary outreach in the Chaco Salteño region. Additionally, mobile service units are operating in Buenos Aires to provide vaccinations, document processing, and animal welfare services.
