Chaco province police crackdown seizes hundreds of motorcycles and drugs, arrests dozens

Over the weekend, police in Argentina's Chaco province conducted 263 operations across the region. The raids resulted in the detention of 60 people and the seizure of 390 motorcycles, five firearms, ten bladed weapons and various quantities of narcotics. Among the drug finds were 92 individual doses of cocaine, almost a kilogram of marijuana and additional cash and paraphernalia used for drug processing.

A separate investigation in Villa Ángela uncovered a 20‑year‑old woman carrying 51 g of cocaine hidden inside her body, leading to her arrest and the confiscation of the substance. The combined efforts demonstrate a coordinated campaign against narcotics trafficking and associated crimes throughout Chaco.

Authorities also recorded numerous traffic and public‑order violations, issuing hundreds of citations for infractions ranging from drunkenness to illegal street vending. The extensive operation reflects the provincial government's emphasis on curbing drug trade, vehicle theft and related offenses.
