Chad and Morocco launch entrepreneurship scholarship program

One hundred Chadian students from all 23 provinces have departed for the Private University of Health and Sciences of Agadir (UPSSA) in Morocco to participate in a three-year excellence program in entrepreneurship.

The curriculum focuses on leadership, innovation, management, finance, marketing, and digital transformation. To ensure practical application, the program includes mentorship, coaching, and incubation services to help students transform ideas into wealth-generating projects and job-creating enterprises.

The initiative stems from a strategic cooperation agreement signed following a mission by Chadian Minister of Youth and Sports, Naïr Abakar, to Morocco in August 2026. Moroccan Ambassador to Chad, Abdellatif Erroja, described the partnership as an innovative model based on solidarity and mutual benefit, aimed at fostering sustainable development and professional integration for Chadian youth.
