Morocco-Chad academic and entrepreneurship cooperation
Overview
Morocco has expanded its academic support for Chad, increasing the annual scholarship quota from 150 to 250 students for the 2026-2027 academic year. These scholarships cover university, technical, and professional training in priority fields such as engineering, artificial intelligence, health sciences, and renewable energy. To manage these educational offerings, the two nations established the Chad-Morocco Committee.
Building on this cooperation, a specialized three-year excellence program in entrepreneurship was launched. One hundred Chadian students from all 23 provinces departed for the Private University of Health and Sciences of Agadir (UPSSA) to study leadership, innovation, and digital transformation. This initiative, stemming from a strategic agreement signed in August 2026, includes mentorship and incubation services designed to help students create wealth-generating projects and enterprises.
