Chad President Mahamat Idriss Déby and Mali Transition Government Review Multi-Year Programs

The Chadian government presented a biennial report evaluating the first two years of President Mahamat Idriss Déby Itno's five‑year political programme. The review, coordinated by the General Secretariat of the Government and presented by Prime Minister Allah Maye Halina and Minister Ramatou Mahamat Houtouin, covers 12 strategic projects and 100 priority actions, providing data, performance analysis and recommendations for improved coordination across ministries.

In Mali, the transitional authorities concluded a five‑year assessment of the country's transition, dubbed the "refondation" and the "Mali Kura" plan. The report highlights reforms in governance, security, diplomacy and the economy, including a new constitution adopted in July 2023, mining code changes that reportedly generated 760 billion FCFA in revenues, and a local development fund that redistributed 18.4 billion FCFA to communes for water, health, education and infrastructure projects.
