Chalé da Praça XV hosts German-themed culinary events in Porto Alegre

The Chalé da Praça XV, located in the historic center of Porto Alegre, is hosting themed German lunches through the end of October. Inspired by the state's traditional Oktoberfest celebrations, the restaurant has scheduled two additional editions of its German Lunch on October 24 and 31.

The event features a buffet of traditional German cuisine, including dishes such as Eisbein (roasted pork knuckle), Sauerkraut, Spätzle with artisanal sausage ragu, Bockwurst, and chicken thighs roasted in bock beer. The menu also includes desserts like Apfelmus and Apfelstrudel. The experience is complemented by live music and cultural programming intended to honor the German immigrant heritage of Rio Grande do Sul.
