Chaminés de Fada geological formations reopen in Campos Belos

The Chaminés de Fada, rare geological formations located in Campos Belos, northeast of Goiás, are officially opening to the public following two months of operational testing. To ensure sustainable tourism and minimize environmental impact, daily visits will be limited to a maximum of 50 tourists.

Visitors must follow specific guidelines, including a moderate-difficulty trail of approximately 2 to 3 kilometers and mandatory accompaniment by a local guide. Groups are limited to six people per guide. Reservations must be made in advance through the official website. Entry fees start at R$ 70 per person, with an additional R$ 200 fee for the guide per group.

To preserve the structures formed by millions of years of natural erosion, visitors are prohibited from climbing on the formations or removing any materials from the site. The Goiás State Tourism Agency (Goiás Turismo) plans to promote the destination at national and international fairs and work toward integrating the municipality into the Brazilian Tourism Map.
