Changan Automobile expands global footprint, ranks among top Chinese auto brands
The 2026 Kantar BrandZ Top 50 Chinese Global Brand Builders ranking was released, placing Chongqing‑based Chongqing Changan Automobile Co., Ltd. on the list for the third consecutive year. The company also secured a spot in the Top 10 Chinese global auto brands for 2026, highlighting its accelerating internationalisation.
Changan now operates a sales and service network in 129 countries and regions, supported by 22 overseas vehicle manufacturing bases, 93 production facilities and more than 19,000 sales and service touchpoints. In December 2025 the firm rolled its 30 millionth vehicle off the line, marking a major production milestone. Its portfolio includes the CHANGAN, CHANGAN NEVO, CHANGAN DEEPAL, AVATR and CHANGAN KAICHENG brands, offering hybrid, mainstream, stylish, luxury and light‑commercial new‑energy vehicles.
