Changan Deepal unveils upgraded electric SUVs S07 for Europe and S05 for Vietnam

Chinese automaker Changan Deepal introduced the Deepal S07 electric SUV in Europe with a starting price of €45,990. The model delivers 258 hp, a top speed of 185 km/h and a WLTP‑rated range of 500 km thanks to a 78 kWh LFP battery that can charge to 80 % in 15 minutes at 200 kW. It comes with a 7‑year/160,000‑km vehicle warranty and an 8‑year/200,000‑km battery guarantee, and it has already entered the top‑10 best‑selling electric SUVs in Spain, competing with brands such as Tesla and Skoda.

The brand also launched an upgraded Deepal S05 for the Vietnamese market, priced at 466 million VND. The 2027 version adds a LiDAR sensor and a new driver‑assistance suite, produces 272 hp, and features a refreshed exterior and interior design with multiple colour options. It targets the competitive C‑segment, positioning itself against the Mazda CX‑5 and Hyundai Tucson.
