Changan launches Eado Plus PHEV pre-sale in Argentina

Changan has launched the pre-sale of the Eado Plus PHEV in Argentina, marking the brand's second plug-in hybrid model in the country. Distributed by Grupo Antelo, the mid-to-large sedan is priced at $29,990 during this initial phase.

The vehicle features iDD (Intelligent Dual Drive) technology, combining a 1.5-liter gasoline engine with an electric motor. The powertrain utilizes a triple-clutch electrified transmission and is powered by an 18.4 kWh Lithium Iron Phosphate (LFP) battery, which provides an all-electric range of approximately 132 kilometers.

Equipped with 18-inch alloy wheels and full LED lighting, the interior includes a digital instrument cluster, a vertical multimedia screen, wireless connectivity for Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and an electric panoramic sunroof. Safety features include six airbags and an Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) package, featuring 360-degree camera views, adaptive cruise control, autonomous emergency braking, and lane-centering assistance.
