Changan launches electric SUV in Netherlands, prices Deepal S05 in Indonesia

Changan announced that its Nevo Q05 electric SUV will arrive in the Netherlands in the autumn, with an estimated starting price of €32,990. The C‑segment model, already on sale in China, measures 4.44 m long, 1.86 m wide and 1.60 m high, offers a 51.9 kWh LFP battery with a claimed range of about 400 km, and accelerates to 100 km/h in 8.2 seconds. It will feature a 14.6‑inch central display, digital instrument cluster, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, OTA updates and ADAS assistance.

In Indonesia, Changan’s Deepal S05 is being positioned at roughly Rp 500 million. The model – available in both pure‑electric and range‑extended variants – is currently imported whole from Thailand, and the company is still studying the feasibility of local assembly. Marketing head Rizal Mulyadi said the price reflects the vehicle’s distinct technology and market positioning despite intense competition in the national EV market.
