Changhua County announces major cultural festivals and infrastructure updates

Changhua County is hosting several major cultural and religious events. The 2026 Trendy Lukang Music Festival will take place from October 16 to 18, featuring 72 artists including Jiro Tang and Nine One One, alongside international acts from Japan and South Korea.

In religious celebrations, the 2026 Changhua Mazu Blessing Culture Festival will be held at the Fangyuan Putian Temple from October 9 to 11 during the National Day holiday. The event includes joint processions of 13 Mazu temples, stamp collecting, and evening performances.

Additionally, road improvement projects around Wen Kai Elementary School in Lukang have been completed to enhance pedestrian safety. The project, funded by the central government and the county, widened sidewalks and created dedicated drop-off zones to better accommodate students and tourists in the historic Lukang Old Street area.
