Changhua factory raid leads to arrest of three drug traffickers

A joint task force involving the Coast Guard Administration and multiple police departments arrested three suspects following a raid on a factory in Puxin Township, Changhua County. Authorities seized 63.82 grams of heroin and 381.36 grams of amphetamine, along with drug packaging tools. The seized narcotics have an estimated market value of over one million New Taiwan Dollars.

Investigators targeted a primary suspect, a man in his late sixties with a prior criminal record, who allegedly used his personal vehicle to transport drugs. The suspect was also suspected of driving while under the influence of narcotics. The operation followed a three-month investigation involving surveillance and undercover monitoring of the suspect's activities. The case has been referred to the Changhua District Prosecutors Office for prosecution under the Narcotics Hazard Prevention Act.
