Chapecó autodrome to host first national racing competitions

The Márcio Vaccaro International Autodrome in Chapecó, Santa Catarina, has confirmed its first official national competitions following successful initial testing. Built with an investment of approximately R$ 120 million, the 4-kilometer circuit features international standards, including pavement similar to Formula 1 tracks.

The NASCAR Brasil Series is scheduled to hold its eighth season stage at the venue from October 30 to November 1, marking the start of the championship playoffs. This event will consist of three races, presenting a technical challenge for teams to adapt to the new track layout.

Additionally, the Marcas Brasil Racing (MBR) category is set to hold an endurance race in December. This three-hour event is expected to feature over 90 drivers to close out the 2026 season. The facility includes 35 pits, a control tower, a helipad, and a capacity for up to 30,000 spectators, with future plans to host categories such as Stock Car, Porsche Cup, and Formula 4.
