Character merchandise releases scheduled for Shimamura and Bandai

Various character-themed merchandise releases are scheduled for late August and early September in Japan.

Shimamura is launching a Sanrio Characters Lolita series featuring bedding and accessories starting September 1. The retailer is also holding a Fashion Goods Fair through September 6, featuring collaborations with Moomin, Sanrio, and Disney.

Bandai is expanding its Gashapon offerings with several new releases. The Pokémon Swing Collection Type: Normal, featuring characters like Snorlax and Ditto, will be re-released in the second week of September. Additionally, a Moomin mascot collection with ten varieties will launch in the first week of September, and Sanrio Characters ice cream-shaped charms will be available from August 31.
