Charity events organized to support cancer patients in Argentina and Ecuador

Various charitable organizations are organizing solidarity events to support cancer patients and raise awareness.

In Argentina, the ‘Un Globo para Patu’ Foundation is hosting its third Family Solidarity Marathon at Parque de la Democracia. The event aims to raise funds for the Hemato-Oncology service at the Dr. Avelino Castelán Pediatric Hospital to improve patient spaces. The marathon includes categories for minis, children, and general participants, allowing for walking, jogging, or running.

In Ecuador, the ‘Jóvenes Contra el Cáncer’ Foundation has announced the ‘4K Caminata de Esperanza’ (4K Walk of Hope) to be held at Parque Itchimbía in Quito. This initiative seeks to collect funds to assist oncology patients who are unable to afford necessary medications. Participants can purchase a kit that includes an official t-shirt and a hydrating drink to contribute to the cause.
