Charity health initiatives announced in Morocco and France

In Morocco, the third edition of the Foulées Solidaires will take place on September 13, 2026, in Bouskoura. Organized to support Moroccan children battling cancer, the event is part of the Maroc Mouvement Septembre en Or (MMSOR) initiative. The race features 5km and 10km courses and expects over 1,000 participants. Organizers note that between 1,200 and 1,300 children in Morocco are affected by cancer annually, with approximately 700 new diagnoses each year.

In France, singer Patrick Fiori has been announced as the ambassador for the 40th edition of the Téléthon, scheduled for December 4 and 5, 2026. This annual event focuses on raising funds for rare disease research and supporting affected families. The broadcast will be aired on France Télévisions, utilizing Fiori's popularity to drive national participation and donations.
