Charity runs held in Sulejów and Łódź to support local causes

Several charity sporting events were held in Poland on September 27 to support local causes.

In Sulejów, the ‘Biegniemy dla Neli’ picnic and sports event took place at the Central Prison Service training center in Kule. The initiative aimed to raise funds for the medical treatment and rehabilitation of a young girl named Nela, who faces significant neurological and developmental health challenges. The event included auctions, musical performances, and family activities to engage the local community.

In Łódź, the ‘Krysiński Run’ was held at the Łódź University of Technology to honor the memory of Professor Jan Krysiński. More than 250 participants competed in 1.3 km and 4 km distances. The proceeds from the run are designated for the hospice in Łódź, specifically to fund the completion of a sensory garden for its patients.
