Charles Scaggs jailed after bond revocation

Charles Scaggs, professionally known as 2 Cold Scorpio, was jailed following a court appearance in Kansas City, Missouri, on September 17. A judge revoked his bond after Scaggs admitted to brandishing a firearm, which violated the conditions of his release. The court determined that his actions posed a danger to public safety.

Scaggs was already facing legal proceedings stemming from a June 2024 incident at a Love’s Travel Stop where he was working as a security guard. During that altercation, which began after Scaggs confronted a man for smoking inside the building, Scaggs stabbed the individual multiple times. While Scaggs claimed he acted in self-defense, the victim identified him as the aggressor.

Scaggs previously pleaded guilty to second-degree assault and armed criminal action as part of a plea agreement. He is scheduled to be sentenced on October 9.
