Legal proceedings against Charles Scaggs
Overview
Charles Scaggs, a professional wrestler known as 2 Cold Scorpio, faced legal consequences following a June 2024 incident at a Love’s Travel Stop in Missouri. During a dispute regarding smoking inside the building, Scaggs stabbed an individual multiple times. Although Scaggs claimed self-defense, the victim identified him as the aggressor.
In September 2026, a judge revoked Scaggs’s bond and jailed him after he admitted to brandishing a firearm, an act the court determined posed a danger to public safety and violated his release conditions.
On October 9, 2026, Scaggs was sentenced to six years in prison after pleading guilty to second-degree assault and armed criminal action. Due to his lack of prior criminal history, the court provided an option to earn probation through the completion of a 120-day intensive rehabilitation program. Successful completion of the program and a favorable recommendation from the Department of Corrections may allow him to serve his sentence under community supervision; otherwise, he must serve the full six-year term.
