Charles Scaggs sentenced to six years in prison
Charles Scaggs, known professionally as the wrestling star 2 Cold Scorpio, has been sentenced to six years in prison after pleading guilty to second-degree assault and armed criminal action. The charges stem from a June 2024 confrontation at a Love’s Travel Stop, where Scaggs allegedly stabbed a man following a verbal dispute regarding a cigarette.
Because Scaggs has no prior criminal history, the court has offered him the opportunity to earn probation by completing a 120-day intensive, boot-camp-style rehabilitation program in Missouri. If he successfully completes the program and receives a favorable recommendation from the Department of Corrections, he may serve his sentence under community supervision. If he fails to complete the program, he will be required to serve the full six-year prison term.
Scaggs was previously taken into custody in September after a judge revoked his bond, citing a violation of bond conditions involving the brandishing of a firearm, which the court deemed a danger to public safety.
