Chelsea FC releases new Afrobeats anthem featuring King Promise

Ghanaian singer King Promise and music producer Ray Michael Djan Jr have collaborated with Chelsea Football Club to release a new anthem titled ‘Can’t Tame Us’. The Afrobeats-inspired track is intended to celebrate the club’s African supporters and will be played at home matches throughout the season.

Ray Michael Djan Jr, working through his London-based SW6 Studios, co-wrote and produced the song. The project highlights the cultural connection between Ghana and the English Premier League club, a bond strengthened by the legacy of former Ghanaian midfielder Michael Essien. The music video for the anthem was filmed in Accra, featuring local scenes to showcase Ghanaian heritage.
