Chelsea interested in AS Monaco midfielder Lamine Camara

Chelsea remains interested in signing AS Monaco midfielder Lamine Camara, despite a failed attempt to secure the player during the summer transfer window. While Chelsea and Monaco reportedly reached an agreement for a €55 million transfer last summer, the French club ultimately withdrew from negotiations.

Monaco has since increased its valuation of the 22-year-old Senegalese international to €70 million. Chelsea is reportedly unwilling to meet this new asking price, creating a deadlock in potential negotiations.

In addition to Chelsea, several other Premier League clubs are monitoring Camara’s situation, including Liverpool, Newcastle United, Brighton, and Crystal Palace.
