Estevao Willian vows to fight for Chelsea starting spot

Chelsea forward Estevao Willian has expressed his determination to earn more playing time under head coach Xabi Alonso. The 19-year-old Brazilian has struggled to secure a starting role in Alonso’s 3-4-3 system, having managed only 23 minutes of Premier League action across four appearances this season.

Estevao currently finds himself behind Cole Palmer, Morgan Rogers, and Joao Pedro in the attacking rotation. While the trio has been central to most of Chelsea's Premier League goals, Estevao has noted that he is focusing on training and seizing any available opportunities to make an impression.

Despite recent reports suggesting the youngster might consider leaving the club in January due to limited minutes, Estevao stated during an international press conference that he respects the coach's vision and will continue to give his best to reclaim a place in the side.
