Cheongna Sky Bridge tourism facilities see rising visitor numbers

Visitor numbers at THE SKY184, located on the Cheongna Sky Bridge, are increasing as cooler autumn weather arrives. Following a decline during the summer months due to heatwaves and heavy rain, the paid Sky Observatory has recently seen utilization rates exceeding 90%.

Total daily visitors to the area, including free spaces like the Sea Observatory and waterfront areas, average approximately 1,000 on weekdays and between 2,000 to 3,000 on weekends. The recent launch of an outdoor media lounge on September 8 has also contributed to rising interest, offering seasonal video content featuring local wildlife.

To maintain this momentum, the Incheon Tourism Organization is implementing various seasonal programs. These include the ‘Sky Concert’ series featuring classical and traditional Korean music, wellness programs such as sunset yoga, and educational science classes for children. Future plans include themed events such as an outdoor library week for autumn and a Christmas week for winter.
