Cheongna Sky Bridge tourism development
Overview
The Incheon Free Economic Zone Authority launched ‘Media Lounge’ at the Cheongna Sky Bridge on September 8. This initiative uses the underside of the bridge as a large-scale screen to display seasonal video content, such as the inaugural ‘Four Seasons’ series, to enhance the nighttime experience for visitors.
Following this launch and the arrival of cooler autumn weather, visitor numbers at the bridge’s facilities have increased. The paid Sky Observatory has seen utilization rates exceeding 90%, with daily visitor averages reaching approximately 1,000 on weekdays and up to 3,000 on weekends. To build on this interest, the Incheon Tourism Organization is introducing seasonal programs, including classical music concerts, wellness activities, and themed events for autumn and winter.
