Chevrolet Corvette Grand Sport shows strong performance and sales

The 2027 Chevrolet Corvette Grand Sport has demonstrated strong performance in recent testing and early market reception. In a MotorTrend lateral acceleration test, the model outperformed other C8 variants. The vehicle features a new high-compression LS6 V8 engine producing 535 hp and 520 lb-ft of torque. Testing showed a 0-60 mph time of 2.7 seconds and a 60-to-0 mph braking distance of 98 feet, aided by Brembo ceramic brakes.

Early production data indicates that approximately 2,700 Grand Sport units have been manufactured. Admiral Blue has emerged as the most popular color, accounting for nearly 32% of orders with 837 units. Other popular choices include Arctic White, Black, and Pitch Grey. Regarding body styles, 54.8% of customers have opted for the coupe version, while a significant portion of buyers are selecting the high-end 3LT trim and the Z52 Performance Package.
