Chevrolet Corvette returns to Spain with new hybrid and V8 models
The eighth generation of the Chevrolet Corvette, known as the C8, has officially returned to the Spanish market through the premium dealership group Tayre. This generation features a significant design shift, moving from a front-engine to a mid-engine layout.
The lineup includes three distinct versions: the entry-level Stingray with a V8 engine, the high-performance Z06, and the E-Ray, which introduces a hybrid powertrain and all-wheel drive for the first time in the model's history.
Separately, reports have emerged regarding significant price markups on high-demand models in the United States. A dealership in Arkansas reportedly listed a Corvette ZR1X Convertible for $696,445, which is $400,000 above its original price. The dealer cited high demand and exclusivity to justify the margin, sparking debate over speculation within the automotive market.
