Chevrolet launches Onix Activ crossover in Argentina and Brazil

Chevrolet introduced the Onix Activ, a new crossover‑styled version of its compact hatchback, at the Rural Expo in Buenos Aires. The model arrives imported from Brazil and is priced at 35,043,900 Argentine pesos. It features a 1.0‑liter turbocharged gasoline engine delivering 116 hp and 160 Nm of torque, paired with a six‑speed automatic transmission.

The Onix Activ sits 61 mm higher than the standard Onix, with a ground clearance of 201 mm, upgraded suspension, exclusive wheels and high‑gloss exterior trim. Chevrolet describes it as an affordable entry into the SUV‑inspired market, adding to its local lineup that already includes the Sonic, Trailblazer and S10 pickups.
