Universidad Autónoma de Tamaulipas reports stable finances and audit compliance

The Rector of the Universidad Autónoma de Tamaulipas (UAT), Dámaso Anaya Alvarado, announced that the institution maintains healthy finances and has successfully addressed technical observations from the Superior Audit of the Federation (ASF) and the Superior Audit of the State (ASE).

In anticipation of the upcoming budget analysis in the Chamber of Deputies, the UAT projects a budget aligned with the national inflation rate. This is intended to ensure operational stability and the continuity of excellence programs. To further strengthen financial management, the university has renewed its University Board, which now includes established business leaders from the northern, central, and southern regions of Tamaulipas. These members conduct quarterly internal audits to ensure transparency and align academic offerings with regional economic needs.
