Chiapas to host Producer Roaster Forum 2027 and Carrera Panamericana 2026

Chiapas Governor Eduardo Ramírez Aguilar has announced that the state will host two major international events: the Producer Roaster Forum (PRF) 2027 and the Carrera Panamericana 2026.

The Producer Roaster Forum, marking its first time in Mexico, is scheduled for March 18–19, 2027, in Tuxtla Gutiérrez. The event will bring together global coffee producers, roasters, buyers, and researchers. Given that Chiapas produces over 60 percent of the coffee consumed in Mexico, the forum is expected to generate up to $15 million in economic impact and improve coffee quality standards.

Additionally, the Carrera Panamericana will return to the region in October. The governor stated that hosting the race for a second consecutive year reflects the improved security situation and peace currently prevailing in the state's various regions.
