Chihuahua authorities announce food program schedule and housing regularization

In Chihuahua, local authorities have announced several administrative updates regarding social services and housing.

The Municipal DIF has released the schedule for the Elderly Food Program (PAAM) for the week of September 14 to 18. Beneficiaries are instructed to visit their designated Community Centers or CEDEFAM locations with their official identification cards to receive support. Specific distribution points include CC Insurgentes, CC Lomas Karike, CC Unidad, and others throughout the week.

Separately, Pensiones Civiles del Estado (PCE) is working to regularize housing in the Zootecnia area of Chihuahua capital. Director General Heriberto Miranda Pérez stated that the institution is using purchase-sale contracts to formalize ownership for approximately 300 occupants who have been living in irregular housing developments. This initiative aims to recover institutional assets following years of abandonment and deterioration in several housing developments managed by PCE and Coesvi.
