Chihuahua Capital attracts over 2.2 billion USD in foreign investment

Chihuahua Capital has recorded 2,224 million dollars in Foreign Direct Investment between 2021 and 2026. During this period, the city completed more than 43 new business investments and expansions, resulting in an average of 21 new formal jobs created daily.

The city's economic structure is supported by 13 economic clusters in sectors including aerospace, automotive, electronics, medical, agro-industrial, construction, green technologies, and digital innovation. Infrastructure includes 12 operational industrial parks and two additional parks currently under development.

Labor market data shows that total employment increased by 11.8 percent from 2021 to May 2026, with the average real daily wage rising from 419 to approximately 670 pesos. Additionally, about 28 percent of local university graduates specialize in science, technology, engineering, mathematics, and construction (STEM) fields to meet industrial demand.
