Chihuahua government launches new AI-powered digital portal

The Government of Chihuahua has launched a new digital platform designed to centralize information, services, and administrative procedures for its citizens. The portal consolidates 972 different state procedures, providing detailed information on requirements, costs, documentation, and timelines through a dedicated section called ‘Mi Trámite Chihuahua’.

A key feature of the new interface is an artificial intelligence-powered chatbot intended to resolve user inquiries and guide them through various government processes. To ensure inclusivity, the platform includes accessibility tools that allow users to modify the page appearance to better accommodate individuals with disabilities.

In addition to administrative tools, the portal features an interactive map to locate government offices and a specialized health section covering services such as MediChihuahua, Ichisal, and Pensiones Civiles. The initiative aims to simplify the relationship between the state and its citizens by reducing the need for physical office visits and improving digital connectivity across the state's 67 municipalities.
